Statement by Rev. James Brown Jr

It is March 2013 and we are in the midst of the most exciting time of this ministry's existence. Covenant Commission was established to aid in the reformation of the Family, Church and Civil Society and we are in the midst of the most important period of this ministry.

First, we are in the beginning stages of planting Reformed Church of the Holy Trinity in Mooresville, Indiana. Our work in planting a Reformed church actually began in October of 2010. However, the work was slow without any real visible results. Now that is all changing and the Lord is opening doors faster than we can keep up.

The lack of progress over the last three years had caused our support to diminish to the point that we were seriously reconsidering our objectives. However, it was reconsideration based upon necessity and not calling. Yet, the Lord has been faithful to keep this ministry afloat when we thought all was lost.

If anything, we have proved that we are committed to this task. By the grace of God we have endured much hardship in weathering storms attempting to destroy the work of God. In it all God has been our refuge and help. He has sustained us by the power of His Sovereign will.

Now the potential of getting a Reformed church plant off the ground is closer to realization than ever. There is much work ahead but we are confident that God will perform His will and work in us.

Yet, God works through His people and it is to His people we are reaching out. If you live in central Indiana and do not have a reformed Church to covenant with or if you would like to see a Reformed work established in Mooresville, Indiana we need your help. We are calling God's remnant to assemble as Christ's body in central Indiana.

It is also needful for God's people in central Indiana and beyond to offer their support in whatever means God gives for you to do. Above all else we need your prayers that God would be merciful and expand and advance His Church in Mooresville, Indiana. Covenant Commission is a ministry of Reformed Church of the Holy Trinity. Our website is being restructured and we appreciate your patience. In the midst of this restructuring we are still ministering in the day to day activities to plant and water in the Lord's vineyard.
