2012 Presidential Race Debate
This debate was billed as representing three Presidential candidates in the 2012 GOP primary. However, it turned into much more. What is actually represented is three Christian views concerning the Christian's responsibility in civil matters. In this debate Covenant Commission director James Brown represents Rick Santorum, Nathan Barnes represents Ron Paul and Brad Marshall represents Newt Gingrich. The three views that emerge in this debate is the Classical Political Calvinism represented by James Brown, Theonomic Libertarianism represented by Nathan Barnes and the modern evangelical Natural Law Theory represented by Brad Marshall. While this debate is four years old it continues to find relevancy in the views represented.
